All the dishes are made to order, taken from a wide range of fresh local Welsh produce, achieving a varied and interesting menu. As confirmed "Taste of Wales" members we use traditional Welsh fare whenever possible. Penbontbren's kitchen, because it cooks to order, can cater for vegetarians and all dietary requirements.

Cuisine

Why not indulge in some of our special cuisine during your stay? You could sample our special mixed smoked fish followed by Welsh duck. Perhaps you'll enjoy the laverbread pancakes stuffed with asparagus with a covering of Welsh cheese, after which Welsh Black fillet steak in blackcurrant and cassis might tickle your fancy. As for the sweet trolley, your taste buds will feel like they've gone to heaven and back!

The hotel's cellar has a large range of wines, equally as tasty as your meal, to satisfy even the most particular palette!!

Taste of Wales

Across the courtyard you will find the restaurant, including bar and lounge. The rustic pine furnishings create a totally restful atmosphere so that guests can relax and unwind after a days sightseeing or a busy conference.

Prices for 4 course meals typically range from £20 per person.
With a children's menu at a reduced rate.
In addition a special menu for the "under fives" is served around 6.00pm.
